
Dr. Albert Pagani, DVM
Dr. Pagani received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University in 1972 and graduated from Veterinary College at the University of Parma, Italy, in 1978. He joined Ocean County Veterinary Hospital in 1980 and became a partner in 1983. He is involved in patient care, surgery and hospital administration.
Dr. Pagani is member and a past Treasurer and President of the Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association (JSVMA). He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA). Currently, he is serving as the liaison between the NJVMA and the New Jersey Veterinary Technicians Association (NJVTA) to facilitate communication and promote the common goals of the two organizations. He is also a member of the Veterinary Study Groups which is an association of approximately 300 veterinary hospitals throughout the US whose mission is to provide high quality veterinary care in a cost-effective manner through the use of innovative ideas and unique management tools.
Dr. Pagani has two daughters. Sara, an attorney who resides in Massachusetts and Karen, a professor at the University of Texas who lives in Austin with her husband and two children. Dr. Pagani’s leisure interests include travel, camping and other outdoor activities. His orange and white long-haired cat, Rubin, is content to stay at home most of the time and his goldfish enjoy hanging out in their pond.
